Job Description

This role is for an Associate Engineer – IT MFG & TPG at Micron Technology. It is an entry-level full-stack software engineering position within Micron’s IT team, supporting Manufacturing (MFG) and Technology Process Group (TPG) operations.

The position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, at Micron’s Phoenix Aquila site. You will work on building and maintaining software solutions that support semiconductor manufacturing processes, including data integration tools, automation platforms, and systems used in fabrication operations.

This role is ideal for candidates interested in full-stack development and working in a high-tech semiconductor environment, contributing directly to manufacturing efficiency and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• 0 – 2 years of relevant experience

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in web development is preferred

Technical Skills (Required)

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, Angular 2.x and/or ReactJS

• Proficiency in HTML5, TypeScript, and CSS

• Experience developing RESTful web services using Node.js or C#

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and reusable components

• Experience with software development lifecycle (development, deployment, CI/CD)

• Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and Cloud-Native Architecture

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and visual design techniques

• Experience building mobile-responsive web applications

• Knowledge of web coding standards, security standards, and cross-browser compatibility

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB, and .NET Core
