Job Description

This is an entry-level Software Engineer I position at Zebra Technologies, based in Bangalore and fully onsite. The role is suitable for freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in software development, automation, and testing in an Agile environment.

You will work on building and maintaining software for Zebra’s products, including hardware–software integration, deployment automation, test framework development, and data pipeline validation. The role has a strong focus on QA automation, CI/CD pipelines, and data process validation, offering a balanced mix of coding, testing, and problem-solving using modern technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills

  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium

  • Good programming skills in object-oriented languages, especially Java

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript

  • Ability to write SQL queries for data validation

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) PaaS
